2004
After obtaining her MBA from Willamette University Atkinson School of Management in Salem, Oregon, Sammie Xiao joined the McLane Group in 2004 as an associate trader. She completed fast track training for a year’s time; by 2006 she helped to open a McLane operation in China, serving as Chief Representative managing 68 employees.
As Chief Representative, Sammie successfully established distribution channels with major importers and retailers, such as Walmart, Sam’s Club, Carrefour and several IGA stores.

As recognition of her stunning achievements in China, Sammie was promoted to Vice President of Business Development at McLane headquarters in Houston, Texas. In her new role, she assisted in the expansion of new territories into Asia and Europe, representing big name brands like P&G, Kraft, Nestlé, Post, and Healthy Times
2012
In 2012, Sammie set foot on a new path with Otis McAllister. As Senior Director, she was directly responsible for all of Otis McAlister’s Asia Pacific business. Sammie initiated negotiations between Ghirardelli and COFCO, the largest food company in China; began cooperation with Sam’s Club of China, a direct importer of Martinelli’s, Ghirardelli, and many California Napa Valley wines.

As an international trader, Sammie was fortunate to have the privilege of working directly under many influential people in the industry. Some of those that have helped to mentor her throughout her impressive career were Drayton McLane Jr. (Chairman of McLane Group and billionaire businessman), Dr. Thomas S. Haggai (CEO & President of IGA Global and Tom Haggai & Associates, Inc.), Craig Palmer (One of the 4 original Costco investors and CEO of Palmer Age Management Systems) and Mike Julian (former CEO of Farm Fresh, Virginia’s largest supermarket chain).
2013
In 2013, Sammie founded her own company, CAS InterGlobal out of the San Francisco Bay Area. Sammie wanted to use her unique skill set to promote a premier trading firm that specializes in connecting the US suppliers to buyers in overseas market. To date, CAS InterGlobal is exporting to about 40 countries and partnering with brands such as Peanut Butter & Co., Sugar Bowl Bakery, Kinder’s BBQ Sauce, Stoneridge Orchards, Safeway, and many more.

In 2018, Kraft Heinz, the third-largest food and beverage company in North America (and the fifth-largest in the world) appointed CAS InterGlobal as a distributor of the Africa and Middle East markets. In 2020, Kraft Heinz is expanding its markets to Asia with CAS InterGlobal.

Catherine Kim
Vice President of Business Developemnt
An accomplished VP of New Business Development with a strong background in international trade, marketing, and advertising. Expertise includes supplier negotiations, logistics management, and leading cross-functional teams. Previously spearheaded media strategies, overseeing $5+ million in ethnic marketing budgets for top clients like Comcast and T-Mobile, and driving business growth through strategic advertising and new client acquisition.
Sae Ueki
Export Manager
Sae is from California State University, Fresno, pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Business. She was born and raised in Japan and a native Japanese speaker. She has over three years of international customer service experiences at International Student Service Office in Fresno and Merced. Also, she worked at the Center of International Trade Development as International Trade assistant.
Nicole Nie
Managing Director
Nicole has over 10 years of export experience with LG Electronics and M-C McLane in their Beijing Office before she joined CAS InterGlobal as a Customer Operations Manager in 2013. She processes strong skills in business development, export and logistics planning and coordination, as well as profound knowledge of the industry, which has helped many of our customers find the best import solutions for their needs. Nicole handles over 10 million in international sales annually.
Wilson Bi
Sales Manager
Wilson has nearly 10 years of sales experience. He once served as the Import and Export Specialist in M-C McLane in their Beijing Office and the Export Sales Manager in Shanghai Oppel Lighting Co. Ltd. He has his own opinions to the market and adapts at customers issues to provide a win-win solution. He also has a strong sourcing ability and can find the most valuable products from the market based on client requirements. Problem solving is his driving force.
Alfred Garcia
Board Member
Alfred Garcia is the president of City Super Ocean Export Inc. He started the UNFI's Export Program in 2001 and managed it till 2009. He is also a Managing Member of the City Super Ocean Export (CSOE). Alfred Garcia is a veteran in the export business with over 23 years of experience.
Shekar Panjaratnam
Vice President of Operations
Shekar is a multilingual speaker including Mandarin. He has 10 years of sales and marketing experience. Over the past few years he focused on developing many USA brand presence strongly in South East Asia. His goal is to consistently network and focus on creative ways build brand presence in different countries.
Robin Qin
Senior Sales Manager
Robin has over 20 years of sales management experience with Chinese national brands and International brands, in which he's built an extensive networks in the food industry. He processes strong channels development abilities and acute sense of customer service; and he's actively involved in helping our key buyers in China increase market sales with tailored-made product solutions.
